Robert “Lonnie” May, “The Clock Man,” died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Weatherford, he was 81. Lonnie was born September 12, 1927 in Collin County. He was a resident of Weatherford before moving to West Texas in 1967, returning to Weatherford in 1994. Mr. May was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. His parents, C.F. and Neeley May, precede him in death along with ten brothers and sisters. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Survivors: wife of 62 years, Alice O. May; sons, Richard May and wife, Kathy, and Wesley May and wife, Joni; grandchildren; Brittany and Brooke May, Robert and Tiffany Jacobs; great grandson, Brody May; sister, Mabel Mohr; many cousins, family and friends.
Graveside service 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2009, in the Greenwood Community Cemetery on Greenwood Cut-Off Road. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
