Robert Edward Maddry, 77, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born April 22, 1946, in Durham, North Carolina to Thaddeus Vernon Maddry and Violet Mae (Matthews) Maddry. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, and then retired from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a skilled welder and enjoyed working with his hands. Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus and Violet Maddry.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Maddry of Weatherford, Texas; sons, Robert Maddry, Jr. and Brandon Scott Maddry; four grandchildren, Maxwell, Alexandra, Aubrey, and Kaitlin; great granddaughter, Presley Rae O'Rourke; and siblings, William, Tom, Shirley, Kay, Ruby, and Jimmy.
