Robert Clayton Osborn, Sr.

  Robert Clayton Osborn, Sr., 77, of Weatherford, died Sunday, February 8, 2009, in the Weatherford Hospital. Robert was born February 15, 1931, in Midland, Texas. He was a partner in Bobby’s Planes ‘N Parts of Weatherford. He was a member of Garner Baptist Church were he served as deacon, he was a member of Experimental Aircraft Association, AOPA and was a pilot since the age of 18. Mr. Osborn was an avid hunter.  

  His parents, R.C. (Bob) and Iva Osborn; daughter, Sherri Elizabeth Osborn; and grandson, Cole Alan Fite, precedes him in death. 

  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, LaWanda Osborn; son, Robert Clayton Osborn, Jr. and wife, Annette; son, David Clark Osborn; daughter, Christi Jeanne Fite and husband, Terry Alan Fite; daughter, Suzan Annette Collins and husband, Bruce; granddaughters, Alisha Winters, Cheyan Fite, and Jenny Osborn; grandsons, Eric Harrington, Adam Collins, and Jordan Osborn; great grandchildren, Tyler Winters and Tenley Winters. 

  Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the Garner Baptist Church. Interment at 2:00 p.m., in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
