Richard Wayne Jones, Sr.

  Richard Wayne Jones, Sr., age 60, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Mr. Jones was born August 5, 1951 in Manahans, Texas. He was a U.S. Army Airborne veteran, truck driver, founder and former president of Highlanders Motorcycle Club, loved yard work, working on trucks and tinkering. Richard loved people and spending time with family and friends. 

  Richard was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Jones, Sr. and sister, Deanna Fisher.

  Survivors: wife, Hazel Jones of Weatherford; daughters, Debbie Melton of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Robin Riebe of New Braunfels, Becca Ferris of Weatherford, and Gena Bartlett of Brock; sons, JR Daugherty of Weatherford, and Wayne Jones, II of Brock; mother, Gloria Jones Martin of Searcy, Arkansas; brother, Samuel Jones of Searcy, Arkansas; and nine grandchildren

Graveside 2:00 p.m., Friday at Johnson Cemetery.
Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
