Richard "Ric" J. Long

  Richard (Ric) J. Long of Cool Junction, Texas, went to be with our Lord on July 31, 2019. He had fought a gallant battle against cancer for almost five years.

  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Belle Brownlee-Long of Cool Junction, Texas; his son, Ryan Brownlee-Long of Cool Junction, Texas; and his daughter, Katy Brownlee-Long (Tony) of Fort Worth, Texas.

  He was preceded in death by his son, Cory Brownlee-Long in 2009 and his mother, Maxine Long, in 1985.

  He is also survived by his father, Dean Long (Melissa) of Dansville, NY; sister, Louise Carragher of Geneva, NY; brother, Jim Prattico (Marcia) of Henrietta, NY; sister, Cheryl Thomas of Anstin, MN; brother, Todd Long (Sue) of Pittsford, NY; sister, Laurie Bushek of Palmyra, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019, in Holders Chapel UMC, in Cool, Texas.
