Richard "Dick" Owen Ruble

  Richard Owen Ruble, AKA “Dick” and “Papaw,” passed away July 28, 2016. He was born the youngest of three children to Robert and Helen Ruble, on July 8, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a former senior buyer for oil service company and retired as a nursing home administrator. Dick enjoyed playing golf. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; and sister, Nancy.

  Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rose Ruble; daughter, Robyn Freeman and husband, Steve of Weatherford; sons, Randy Ruble of Scottsdale, Arizona, Ron Ruble and wife, Charalene of Round Rock, and Rick Ruble and wife, Terri of Lubbock; grandchildren, Chance, Chelsea, Heather, Kelsey, Ryan, Michael, Whitney, and Brittany; and one great-grandchild, Adelynn.

  A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel.
