It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rex Aaron Moore. It was found that he had passed from this life on Monday, May 19, 2025, at age 39.
Born on March 9, 1986, in Fort Worth, Texas, Rex was the beloved son of Lea (Gelushia) Wolfe and the late Brick Moore. A gentle soul with a deep appreciation for both technology and the arts, Rex found joy in computers and reading poetry. However, his greatest devotion was to his cherished cats, Louie and Luggage, who were the heart of his world.
Rex was preceded in death by his father, Brick Moore, and grandparents, Rex and Patricia Moore.
Rex is survived by his mother, Lea Wolfe and stepfather, Ricky; siblings: sister, Brandi Bancroft and husband, Royce; brother, Jesse Bass and wife, Angela; sister, Alexis Adkins and husband, Joe; brothers, Ryker Dunbar, Riley Wolfe, and Blake Moore. He also leaves behind his grandfather, Mike Gelushia and wife, Jeannie; grandmother, Carolyn Thompson; and a loving circle of aunts and uncles: Melissa, Eric, Michael, Rexanne, Ben, Daisy, and Genell. Rex will also be remembered with love by his nephews and niece: Caleb and Samuel Bancroft, Lexzie, Grayson, and Kolson Kolecki. Rex will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, followed by a graveside service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Annetta Cemetery, 2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, Texas 76008.
