Rev. Shirley Marie Hobbs

  Rev. Shirley Marie Hobbs, age 72, of Grand Prairie, died on August 15, 2010. She was born November 25, 1937. Mrs. Hobbs was an ordained minister, piano teacher, school teacher, homemaker, and she loved and lived for her children and grandchildren.

  Survivors: husband, Rev. Roger L. Hobbs, Sr.; four sons, Roger Hobbs, Jr. and wife, Margaret, Fred Hobbs and wife, Mary, Ron Hobbs and wife, Trena, and Oliver Hobbs and wife, Belinda; brother, Richard Hustud;10 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010, in the Community Baptist Church, with interment in Moore Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
