Rev. Harold Mitchell, Sr., 82, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born April 10, 1938, in Atlanta, Georgia to John and Gertrude Walker Mitchell. Harold was an US Air Force veteran and retired after many dedicated years of service to our country.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Mitchell; mother, Gertrude Myrick; brothers, John and Roy Mitchell and Charles Myrick, as well as his son, Archie Mitchell.
Harold is survived by his sons, Harold Mitchell, Jr., Robert A. Mitchell and wife, Teresa Smith, and John Henry Mitchell and wife, Deborah; grandchildren, Robert Mitchell, Jr., Deanna Mitchell, and John Henry Mitchell, Jr.
A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
