Rev. Bobby Franklin Cunningham

  Rev. Bobby Franklin Cunningham, 76, of Hudson Oaks, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Weatherford Healthcare Center. Bobby was born August 16, 1939 in Hobart, Oklahoma to William and Laura Rhea Cunningham. He was a retired Baptist minister, serving several churches across Texas and Oklahoma. In addition, he had served as the dean of students and professor at Arlington Baptist College for 18 years. He was a member of Birchman Ave. Baptist Church. 

  Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Wayne Cunningham; and a brother, Ronald Cunningham. 

  Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Nettie; daughter, Carla Smith and husband, Mike of Hudson Oaks; sons, Paul Cunningham and wife, Andrea of Los Alamos, New Mexico and David Cunningham and wife, Katherine of Fort Worth; sister, Elwanda Stigler; brothers, Gene and Charles Cunningham; grandchildren, Christopher, Carissa, Jonathan, Mikhail, Chrisanie, Monique, Katie, Abby, Michaela, Courtney, and Johnny; and nine great grandchildren; and Rosie (weaner dog).

  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday March 3, 2016, at Birchman Ave. Baptist Church (9100 North Normandale) in Fort Worth, Texas. Interment will follow at Annetta Cemetery.

  In lieu of flowers, he and Nettie requested that memorial gifts be made to Birchman Ave. Baptist Church, (www.birchman.org).
