Renate Maria Hudson

  Renate Maria Hudson, age 83, of Weatherford, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Renate was born May 19, 1933 in Frankfurt, Germany, to Heinrich and Anna Hartmann. She was an amazing lady that loved life to its fullest. Renate worked as an upholsterer for fine furniture and enjoyed working outside mowing, gardening or tending to her flowerbeds.

  Renate is survived by her sister, Rosemarie and her husband Lewis David Lockridge; sister, Ingrid and her husband Werner Zeimer; brother, Norbert Hartmann; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

  Renate was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Walter George Hudson; her parents; sister, Doris Hartmann; brother, Deiter Hartmann; brother, Karlheinc Hartmann.

  Graveside service 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at Newberry Cemetery. James Plowman will officiate.
