Rebecca "Becky" (Neal) Covington

  Rebecca “Becky” (Neal) Covington, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2026, at Avir at Weatherford. She was born September 1, 1941, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Max Edward Neal and Jewell Edith Westmoreland Neal.

  Becky attended Weatherford High School, where she was a cheerleader and Homecoming queen. Married for 63 years, Becky was a homemaker who loved to cook. She also worked in the medical field.

  In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Max Edward “Eddie” Neal.

  Becky is survived by her husband, Donald “Don” Wayne Covington; her children, Kathy Livingston (Jimmy) and John Covington (Gwen); her grandchildren, Que, Tyler, and Tanner; her great-grandson, Hudson; her brother, Michael Neal (LeAnne); and numerous nieces and nephews.

  A Celebration of Life will be held in the fellowship hall of North Side Baptist Church, in Weatherford, Texas, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
