Raymond Henry Gill Jr., age 61, passed peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 21, 2026, with his beloved wife and sons by his side.
Raymond was born August 31, 1965, in Hurst, Texas, to Raymond Henry Gill Sr. and Sue (Moore) Oldham. He was a family man who treasured the time he spent with the people he loved. Raymond found joy in the simple things in life, especially being outdoors and tending to his garden. There was something special about watching things grow, and his love for gardening reflected the care he brought to the things that mattered most to him.
Above all, Raymond loved his family. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren and was filled with excitement as he looked forward to welcoming his first great-grandchild, Rhealynn. His anticipation of her arrival will forever be a cherished part of his family's memories of him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Gill Sr.
Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie Gill of Weatherford, Texas; his sons, Chris Seely, James Forsyth, and John David; daughter-in-law, Morgan Seely; his granddaughter, Michelle Ogle; his grandsons, Anthony, James, and Nick; his mother, Sue Oldham; and his brothers, Robert Gill and Randy Gill.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Iron Faith Church, located at 801 Tremont Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
Raymond’s time on earth was a gift, and his love will remain a part of his family’s story for generations to come.
~
