Randal "Randy" Lee Thompson

Randal "Randy" Lee Thompson went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Randy was born on November 16, 1956. In his younger years he excelled at everything he set his mind to. He was a fast runner and was quite the looker. As he got older, you could say that he truly became a jack of all trades. Randy knew how to do just about anything and if you came to him with a problem, you could just about guarantee he would know how to solve it. One thing was for sure, that if he was going to help you with something, it was going to be his way or the highway.

Randy enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time, which he didn't always have a lot of because he worked very hard. He was smart and loved writing about his life lessons that he could share with others. Family was important to him and he loved spending time with them every chance he got. He could always be found under the hood of a vehicle, working on cars with his son. Randy was a Papa to his grandchildren also, which gave him a great amount of joy.

Randy leaves behind to carry his memory, his son, Michael Thompson and wife, Dayton; daughter, Alexxii Thompson; brother, David Thompson and wife, Bonnie; brother, Shane Thompson and wife, Michelle; brother, Tim Thompson and wife, Julie; sister, Jeanne Crandall and husband, Ben; and granddaughters, Piper Thompson and Octavia Thompson. Preceding him in death are his parents, Maynard Thompson and Kay Tenseth.

Family would love to invite everyone to a visitation on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas, where everyone can get together to fellowship and share in their love for Randy Thompson.
