Priscilla Rose Pruvis

  Priscilla Purvis, 68, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.

  Mrs. Purvis was born June 29, 1941, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to O'Dell and Mabel Wooten. She married Wayne Purvis October 22, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana.

  Priscilla had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. She loved shopping, garage sales and spending time with her children and grandchildren which were the light of her life.

  The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for all their loving and compassionate care. May she rest in God's Radiant Light.

  Survivors include her husband, Wayne Purvis of Granbury; daughters, Andellyn Danita Hungerford and husband, Terry of Watsonville, California, and Danae Sessum and husband, Lynn of Brock, Texas; sons, Dell Shane Purvis and wife, Lisa of Granbury, and Gary Purvis and wife, JoAnn of Seabrook, Texas; grandchildren, Lezli Owens, Dustin Purvis, Kaitlyn and Daelyn Sessum, Westly Kren, Noah and Seth Purvis, Dalton Purvis, Lupe, John and Gerald Purvis; very special cousins, Mary Jackson, Danene Mhoon, and Tommy Jackson, Jr.; numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  Mrs. Purvis was preceded in death by her son, Dallas Purvis; step-daughter, Debbie Conklin; and granddaughter, Megan Conklin.

  Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3, at Greenwood Baptist Church. 1504 Greenwood Cutoff Road, Weatherford, Texas.

  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice in Fort Worth or Samaritans Purse.
