Polly B. Pond

  Polly B. Pond, 90, went to her heavenly home August 28, 2010. Polly was born December 14, 1919 to John and Alma Cox. She was a lifelong resident of Garner.

  She was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. Her true love and devotion was to her daughters and grandchildren.

  Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.

  Survivors include two daughters: Wilma Jean Babb and husband, Douglas of Fort Worth and Carolyn Key and husband, Jerry of Garner; three grandchildren, Debbie Stevenson and husband, James of Fort Worth, Thad Key and Todd Key both of Garner; three great-grandchildren, Whitney, Shelby, and Cooper Key; and one sister, Ruth Grable of Fort Worth.

  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Garner Baptist Church where she was a member for more than sixty years. Burial will be in Authon Cemetery near Garner. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
