Phillip Vaughn Clifton

Phillip Vaughn Clifton, 57, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born March 20, 1964, in Eastland, Texas, to Hollis Wayne and Shirley Boyd Clifton Winfrey. Phillip was a flight attendant for American Airlines for 23 years. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, and antiquing. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Hollis Clifton, and his granddaughter, Kynleigh.

Phillip is survived by his spouse of 23 years, Arturo Torres; children, Crystal Burkett and spouse, Jason, and Matthew Clifton and spouse, Francisco; mother, Shirley Jean Winfrey; siblings, Robbie Gibson and spouse, Lisa, Angie Atkins and spouse, Kevin, Darla Murray, and Allan Clifton; three grandchildren, Kaleigh Burkett, Kason Burkett, and Kynsleigh Burkett; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends Phillip considered as family.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
