Phillip “Cowboy” Teague, 76, of Weatherford passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014, in the local hospital. Mr. Teague was born March 20, 1938, in Greenville, Tennessee, to Kenneth and Imogene Teague. Cowboy was the owner of Teague Welding and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, walking two and a half miles every day and having cookouts with his family. You could find Cowboy every morning drinking coffee at Big Pantry on North Main.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his wife, Nelda; daughter, Phyllis Tiffin and husband, Mike of Garner; son, Rickey Teague and wife, Becky of Weatherford; sister, Sandy Neal and husband, Mike of Greenville, Tennessee; brother, Joe Teague and wife, Karen; five grandchildren, Trent, Kevin, Phillip, Will, and Amanda.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 6, 2014, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Cris Powell officiating.
Interment will follow in East Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
