Paula Cruz Salas

  Paula Salas, 89, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully Monday, October 5, 2015 at home surrounded by her family and friends. Paula was born June 30, 1926 in Vera Cruz, Mexico. She was a homemaker, always had an amazing garden, and got her most enjoyment by taking care of her family and pets. 

  Paula is survived by her daughters: Consuelo Alvarado and her husband, Jose; Cecilia Salas-Gallegos; Nora Salas-Cruz; and Oralia Salas de Alonzo and her husband, Thomas; sons: Raimundo Salas-Cruz; and Luis Salas-Cruz and his wife, Maria; daughter-in-law, Elvira Salas Estrada; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

  Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe; her father, Norberto Cruz Espinoza; mother, Saturnina Cruz; her son, Claudio Salas-Cruz; her son-in-law, Refugio Gallegos; and her brothers, Ignacio Cruz Mar and Abad Cruz Mar.

Funeral service 2:00pm Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Interment Annetta Cemetery.  Visitation 6-8pm Tuesday, October 6, 2015 and 6-8pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
