Paul L. Auburg, 82, died Thursday, August 24, 2006, in a Weatherford nursing home. Paul was born January 16, 1924, in Lovington, New Mexico, to Pastor Jesse Thomas Auburg and wife, Irene Burdett. He was a graduate of Brownfield High School and former owner of Sonny’s Grocery in Brownfield.
Paul is survived by son, Jesse Auburg and daughter, Sondra Auburg Johnson, both of Weatherford; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
