Paul Dean Dyer

  Paul Dean Dyer, 91, of Weatherford, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. He was born November 12, 2026 in Hale Center to Thomas Bentley and Ova Gertrude (St. Clair) Dyer.

  Paul married Wanda Laverne (Jones) Dyer on January 15, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico, and together raised three children. He was raised working on the family farm and began working with El Paso Natural Gas Company Wingate Plant finishing as a boiler operator in 1953. Retiring after 37 years, he worked at Dyer Office Concepts for another decade. He was a faithful member of the South Main Church of Christ where he was active in several church activities. Paul enjoyed working in the yard and garden and traveling with Wanda.

  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Baby Dean; and his siblings C.D., A.O, Mary, and Glendon.

  Paul is survived children, Linda Carolyn Dyer, Jackie Dean Dyer and wife, Cheryl Lynn, and Ronald Jay Dyer and wife, Mary Teresa; grandchildren, Alexander J. Dyer, Marvin Earl Dyer and wife, Marci, and Crystal MayLynn Abbott and husband, Joshua; and seven great grandchildren. 

Memorial Service 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2026, at South Main Church of Christ, with Michael Lum officiating.
