Patsy Ruth McWhorter

Patsy Ruth McWhorter, 71, passed from this life Monday, October 31, 2022. Patsy was born January 4, 1951, in Vernon, Texas to Kirby Chism and Virginia (Thomas) Chism. Patsy was a skilled artist and she used her creativity in crafting and flower gardening. Patsy's greatest love was her family. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Patsy always provided support and love for her family, and dedicated her life to them as a homemaker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Patsy is survived by her son, Richie Withers and wife, Nita of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Tawanaka Molsbee of Weatherford, Texas; brothers, Curtis Chism and Don Chism, both of Vernon, Texas; sister, Betty Moses of Weatherford, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Davie Withers.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Zion Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Linda Brewster officiating. The pallbearers will be David Withers, Noah Saucedo, Andrew Cape, John Garcia, Austin Soriano, and Mike Moses.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas.
