Patsy Lorene Shaw

  Patsy Lorene Shaw, 79, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday evening, February 26, 2020, in Weatherford. Cremation has taken place and all services will be private in North Carolina.

  Patsy was born on June 27, 1940, in Ashville, North Carolina, to Theodore and Ruby Mae Green. She was a cosmetologist for over 40 years and at one time owned her own salon. Patsy loved ‘anything pink’ and enjoyed oil painting and doing ceramics. Patsy loved spending time around the water at the beach and traveling to her beloved Blue Ridge Mountains. She will be remembered for her “sassy” sense of humor. Most of all, Patsy cherished time spent with her family – particularly her grandchildren, and her puppy dog, Wiggles.

  Patsy is survived by her children, Peggy (Doug) Vance and Phillip (Jody) Lytle; her grandchildren, Sabrina (Stephen) Young, Curtis Vance, David Vance, Brad Lytle, Samantha Lytle and Josh Lytle; and by her extended family, Andrew and Jennifer Faust.

  Patsy was preceded in death by her parents.
