Patricia Loiacano Melson

Patricia (Loiacano) Melson departed from this life on Monday, October 30, 2023, at age 81. Patricia was born September 30, 1942, in Orange, Texas to Leo Lucas Loiacano and Mary Elma (Le Blanc) Loiacano. Throughout her life Patricia was involved in her community, her church, and especially her family. She worked at Winn Dixie for many years and was a clerk for the Parker County Clerk's Office. Patricia volunteered for the PTA, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, and as a band sponsor, as well as being a driving force in the renovation of the Weatherford Presbyterian Church. In her later years, the highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her son, Mitchell Paul Melson and wife, Kristy; daughter, LeOnna Lucille Gallucci and husband, Patrick; daughter, Melissa Lane and husband, Colin; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Judy F. Myers and husband, Ray, and James L. Loiacano and wife, Shawn; special friend, Bob Caughman; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Marianne Melson; and sister, Linda Bumgardner.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas 76086, officiated by Lou Tiscione.

The family invites friends and family for the visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the funeral chapel.
