Orval Dwight Moore

  Orval Dwight Moore, 84, of Azle, passed away, Friday, November 23, 2018. 

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, at the funeral home.

  Orval was born February 28, 1934, in Gladewater, Texas, to Adrian and Eva McClendon Moore. He was a route salesman for Borden Foods and later worked for Phillips Water Hauling. Orval was a member of North Side Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, camping and baking and loved to spend time with family.

  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dwight Moore; granddaughter, Allison; as well as his siblings, Elton, Troy, Sherry, and Blanche. 

  Orval leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years, Ernestine; daughters, Janese Hood and husband, Brent of Azle and Amanda Evans and husband, Craig of North Hollywood, California; daughter-in-law, Beverly Moore of Burleson; brother, Delmar Moore of Lamesa; grandchildren, Brandon, Andrea, Carrie, Dillon, Ciarra, and Connor; great grandchildren, Autumn, Blake, and Mya; and many extended family and friends.
