Oleta passed from this life on January 14th, 2026. She was born March 15th, 1929, to Earnest Marcella and Martha Smith Scarbrough, in Duncan Oklahoma.
She met Willard Newman Bloodworth, while attending school in Brock, Texas. They married and had one son, Gary Don Bloodworth.
Oleta was preceded in death by her husband; father; mother; brothers, Hershal Scarbrough and his wife, Joy, and Leon Scarbrough; and sisters, Geneva Nickelson and husband, Nick, Juanita Harrison and husband, Stanley, and Margaret Noe, and husband, Robert.

Oleta was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked in the church nursery at Eureka Baptist Church for many years.
She was a LVN at Campbell Hospital for 15 years. After leaving there she helped Willard at Dean's Grocery till they sold it, she then worked as his secretary for Willard's Pest Control, till they both retired.
She loved being with her family, and cooking. Oleta may be best remembered for her dishes she would make for Willard to take to his deer leases, where he was once told he could not be on the lease unless he brought her marshmallow brownies.
Our family has so many beautiful and wonderful memories of her, she will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
