Nora LaFaye McCoy, 79, of Weatherford, passed away September 5, 2020, in a nursing facility. Nora was born September 16, 1940, in Hood County, Texas, to Leon and Oleta Spoon Hastings. She was a homemaker and a long-time resident of Weatherford.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Rheubin McCoy in 2006, and her daughter, Kitty Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Sager of Boyd, Shelia Barksdale of Weatherford, and Janie and husband, William Despain of Haltom City; 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020, in Granbury Cemetery 200 E Moore St, Granbury, Texas 76048, with Andy Hutchison officiating. Visitation: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday evening, at Galbreaith Pickard.
