Nona Nell Thompson

  Nona “Nell” Thompson, 91, of Weatherford, passed away on October 19, 2018, in Fort Worth.

  A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 25, at East Greenwood Cemetery. A Visitation will be held prior to the service at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel beginning at 12:30 p.m.

  Nell was born on September 16, 1927, in Weatherford, to Bill and Roxie Woodle. She married Wayne Thompson and had two children, Jeffery and Joe. Nell enjoyed cooking for her family, going to the casino, and bowling unless it was Friday night, then you would find her and Wayne dancing at Bonnie’s Wayside.

  Nell was preceded in death by husband, Wayne; parents; and two children.

  Survivors include her grandchildren, Cody Thompson, Amanda Thompson-Haynes, Stephanie Thompson-Cheney, and Jerad Thompson.
