Nolan Cantrell

  Nolan Cantrell, 75, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009. Nolan was born January 21, 1934, in Jack County, Texas, to Herschel Gurney and Letha Edna Cantrell.

  Nolan was a truck driver and diesel mechanic. He was a member of Westwood Christian Fellowship and was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bettie Partin; a brother, Harold Cantrell; and a grandson, Frankie Joe Morgan, Jr.

  Survivors include his wife, Joy; daughters, Rebecca and Mark Jacobs, Glynda and Frank Morgan, and Sharon and Travis Stanley; son, Allen Cantrell, all of Weatherford; sister, Bobbie Wilson of Alaska; brothers, Olan Cantrell and Ed Cantrell of Arizona, Wil Cantrell of California, and Ned Cantrell of Weatherford; nine grandchildren; and great grandson, Ezra Nolan.

  Funeral service will be at Westwood Christian Fellowship, 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2009; burial will be in Lynn Creek Cemetery in Jack County at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
