Noel Alvin Long, 82, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Long was born July 15, 1927 in Big Springs, Texas, to Elijah and Maude Long. Noel was an Army Veteran, he was a retired aircraft mechanic, a millwright, and a member of North Main Church of God.
Survivors: wife, Bonnie Fay Long; sons, Don Wayne Long and Alvin Wayne Long; brother, Bobby Gene Long, all of Weatherford; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2010, at North Main Church of God. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
