Nina Elizabeth Jones

  Nina Elizabeth Jones passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. Born October 11, 1929, to Ullysus and Nina Frances Guyton, in Tuscumbia Alabama; Nina was one of two girls. Nina spent most of her life as a secretary for a construction company. Nina was a loving mother of three children. She loved the Lord and was very proud of her family. She enjoyed the smiles and laughter of her grandchildren. Nina was especially proud of the first home she purchased herself at the age of 68.

  Nina leaves behind her daughter, Pattie Mitchell Thomas and her husband, Tommy of Weatherford; her son, Michael Wayne Mitchell of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren, Anna, Jennifer, Melody, April, Christy, Nikki, Jeremy, and Jason; 9 ½ great grandchildren, and sister, Mildred Cobb of Indianapolis Indiana.  

  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melba Louise and great grandson, Thomas Jason Thomas.

  A visitation / memorial service will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
