Nettie G. Harris, 88, of Quinlan, formally of Weatherford, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, in a Greenville nursing facility. She was born October 24, 1924, in Waco, Texas.
Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, Switzer “Shorty” Harris, in 1995.
She is survived by her son, Rod "Corky" Harris and wife, Kay of Quinlan; three grandchildren, Micheal Harris of Plano, Nettie-Marie Hill of Buffalo, Kentucky, and Robert Harris of Quinlan; three great grandchildren, Ashlie-Marie Paulin, Patrick Hill, and Brittani Nevarez; three great great grandchildren, Jose "Jr." Nevarez, Isaac Nevarez, and MaKayla Clark, and one on the way Evelynn Paulin; other relatives and friends.
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, in East Greenwood Cemetery.
