Nelda Mae (Holder) Lawson, 88, passed away Monday in Rohnert Park, California. She was born May 16, 1922, near Garner, Texas, to Richard (Dick) Holder and Janie Mays Holder, and lived most of her adult life in California.
Nelda was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lawson; her parents; brothers, Edwin Holder and “Son” Holder; and sisters, Cleo Brooking and Clotee “Frankie” McGregor.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and stepdaughters.
Graveside service: 1:30 p.m., Sunday October 17, 2010, in Holder’s Chapel Cemetery near Cool, Texas.
