Nannie I. Burks

Nannie Burks, age 90, of Weatherford, died early Wednesday morning, November 13, 2013 in a local nursing facility.  Born September 11, 1923 in Comanche County, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years.  She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and a retired service station customer service attendant.  Nannie was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Guy Burks, son Terry Dan Burks, son Jerry Guy Burks and step-daughter, Bobby Ray.
Survivors:
Daughters – Barbara Riddle and husband, Jay of Corona, California
                     Teresa Stults and husband, Ray of Weatherford
Son – Ronald Burks and wife, Linda of Weatherford
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday,
November 16, 2013 in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in
Center Point Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, November 15, 2013 at the funeral home.
