Nancy Sue Dowell

  Nancy Sue Dowell, 64, of Weatherford, died early Friday morning, November 21, 2008, at her home. Born August 22, 1944, in Fort Worth, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Nancy graduated from UNT with a bachelor’s degree and went on to complete a master’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She was a retired school teacher and a member of North Side Baptist Church. 

  Nancy was precede in death by her father, Arthur Loyd Biggers and a infant brother, David Arthur Biggers.

  She is survived by her husband, John Dowell of Weatherford; daughter, Lisa Nolte of Fort Worth; son, Jon Dowell of McKinney; mother, Margaret Biggers of Fort Worth; one grandson, Jake Nolte; aunt, Anita Heaslet and husband, J.T.; uncle, Woody Ratliff and wife, Helen; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Dowell; and numerous cousins.

  Funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m., at North Side Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Smithfield Cemetery in North Richland Hills.
