Monte Udell "Johnny" Caraway

  Monte Udell “Johnny” Caraway, 81, of Weatherford, died Thursday, February 19, 2009, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born November 3, 1927, in Irving, Texas, she was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church. Johnny loved to crochet and put puzzles together. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Patsy Biggs Swearingin; first husband, Bill Bass and second husband, Henry Caraway. 

  Johnny is survived by her step-mother, LaVerne Swearingin of East Texas; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and long time friend, Roy Magee. 

Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
