Monica Ann Anderson

  Monica Ann Anderson, age 46, passed from this life on Friday, August 28, 2026.

  Monica was born December 22, 1979, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Mary Carol (Thomas) Ernst. She earned an associate’s degree and was self-employed. Monica was a nature lover, especially fond of being around water, with her favorite being the beach. She loved all animals and had a way of communicating to any kind, from frogs to horses and anything in between. She had a green thumb, able to grow vegetables and loved cooking up tasty fresh foods. With her witty sense of humor, she could convey the funny side of life that would leave you laughing your head off. Her appreciation and knowledge for music of all genres was exceptional. She always played the right songs for any event. She is missed by all that loved her.

  Monica was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Keith Maynard.

  Monica is survived by her son, SPC Anderson, with the 82nd Airborne (Jack); mother, Carol Ernst, and stepfather, Richard Ernst; her siblings: brother, Dalton Keith Maynard; sister, Amanda Gallagher; step siblings: Natassia Records, Megan Kaissi, and Paul Ernst.

 The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Rd., Willow Park, Texas 76087. Following the service, burial will take place at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas.
