Modean Wells, 90, of Azle, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010, in a Weatherford nursing facility. Born December 4, 1919 in Hollis, Oklahoma, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Modean was a retired bookkeeper for Kmart and a member of the Weatherford Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Modean was preceded in death by her husband, Barney W. Wells.
Survivors: daughter, Connie Duncan and husband, Jim of Fort Worth; son, Joe Wells of Azle; sister, Chris Reaves of Azle; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside: 1:00 p.m., in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth with Rev. Jerry Harrison officiating. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard.
