Mitchell Don Woodruff

  Mitchell Don Woodruff, 51, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. Mitch was born May 14, 1962, in Louisiana, to Madelene and Don Woodruff.

  Mitch was a member of First Baptist Church of Dennis. Mitch was a graduate of Weatherford High School, class of 1980. He attended San Marcos College and Weatherford College. He worked at the family’s store, Woodruff Auto Supply, in Weatherford.

  Survivors include his parents, Madelene and Don Woodruff; sister, Michelle Mooney and husband, Jerry of Brock; brother, Mike Woodruff and wife, Teresa of Weatherford; nephew, Marcus Ard of Brock; nieces, Laci Thomason and husband, Bryan of Brock and Leah Quinn and husband, Dusty of DeLeon; and great nephew and niece, Cole Thomason and Makenna Quinn.

  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jones cemetery. Floral tributes are welcome. Donations may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Dennis.
