Mildred Elizabeth Minor

  Mildred Elizabeth Minor, age 89, of Weatherford, died Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011 in a local nursing facility. Born April 12, 1922 in Rusk, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years. She was a homemaker, owner of Doug Shoes for 19 years in Weatherford and she was a member of the Willow Park Baptist Church.
 
  Survivors include her husband, Doug Minor of Weatherford; daughter, Debbie Merrill and husband, Gene of Weatherford; five grandchildren, Paul Minor, Garland Smith, John Merrill, Kimberly Merrill and three great grandchildren, Richard, Gary and Kathy.
 
  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Curtis Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the funeral home.
