Mildred Blackstock Lamb Offield

  Mildred Blackstock Lamb Offield, age 91, of Weatherford, died Thursday evening, April 14, 2011, at her residence. Born June 26, 1919 in Peaster, Texas, a resident of Weatherford and Parker County all her life, she was a homemaker, former sales clerk for J.C. Penney and Montgomery Ward. Mildred was a life long member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church and member of Wesleyan Service Guild, Mary Martha Sunday School Class and she was a good friend to everyone and a good Mother.

  She was preceded in death by W. D.”Whittie” Lamb and Tom Ira Offield.

  Survivors: daughter, Suzanne Lamb of Weatherford; sons, Duane Lamb and wife, Annette of Weatherford, Greg Lamb and wife, Diane of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Christian Lamb, Michelle Seay, Angie Stanley, Shaunna Bevers, Carrleigh Caillouette, and Tommi Howell; and ten great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Caitlyn, Gage, Jade, Paige, Glenn, Paitlyn, Kaylea, Stephen, and Rachael.

  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 18, 2011, in the Couts Memorial, United Methodist Church with interment in the Poe Prairie Cemetery near Millsap.
