Michael Lloyd Shaw

Michael Lloyd Shaw, 59, passed from this life on Sunday, July 9, 2023. He was born December 11, 1963, in Amarillo, Texas to John E. Shaw and Sharon (Ellis) Shaw. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army, and then took pride in his career as a small engine mechanic following his service in the armed forces. He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, camping, and being in the outdoors enjoying a cold beer. Michael will be remembered as a caring husband, father, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and son who enjoyed spending time with everyone. He will be missed by all.

Michael is survived by his children, Vanessa, Jackie and Adam; his grandchildren; sisters, Ronda and her husband, Bryan of Granbury, Texas and Melissa of Weatherford, Texas; aunts and uncles, Karon, Dale and Donna; several nieces and nephews, Justin, Andy, Katie, and J.D.; and cousins, Robin, T.J., Roger, David, Bryan, Rusty, Kathie, and Wilma Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, officiated by Cris Powell.
