Michael John Moore

  Michael John Moore, 68, passed peacefully in his home in Weatherford, on October 9, 2013.

  Michael was born April 10, 1945, to Richard and Valerie Moore, in Somerset, England.

  Michael dearly loved his large family and always instilled a foundation of loving strength and values, emphasizing the importance of family. Michael's family and friends meant everything to him and his sense of humor will be missed by everyone each and every day.

  Michael is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen Moore of Weatherford; daughter, Joyce Davis and her husband, John of Dallas; son, Jeffrey Moore and wife, Jill of Weatherford, and daughter, Jennifer Tone and husband, Tim of Dallas; six grandchildren, Chase Davis, Nathan Moore, Taylor Moore, Hailey Moore, Carys, and Ivy Tone.

  Michael is also survived by his sister, Susan Kuschell; his brother, Rick Moore; and sister, Jennifer Moore.

  A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford.
