Melba Jean Tidwell Hudgens, 70, of Weatherford, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at her residence. Born July 8, 1937, in Weatherford Texas, to Icem and Lora Tidwell. She was general manager in communications for CSSI for 27 years.
Melba Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Icem and Lora Tidwell; brothers, Leroy and Marvin Tidwell; and sisters, Desi Mack and Maizie Conely.
Survivors: daughter, La Rae Meyer of San Antonio, Texas; son, Randy Hudgens of San Antonio; sisters, Patsy Simpson of Weatherford and Katherine Vandertil of South Carolina; and granddaughters, Lauren and Stephanie Meyer.
Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Community Cemetery.
