M.C. Tillery

  M.C. Tillery, age 85, passed from this life Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Weatherford, Texas. M.C. was born September 17, 1931, at home in the Lazy Bend community, to Robert and Ruby Tillery. He was a retired long-haul Truck Driver for Merchants Fast Motor Lines. During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching professional sports and driving fast cars. M.C. was raised in the Baptist Church and at one point served as a church deacon.

  M.C. is survived by his daughter, Debbie Barnett and husband, Greg of Oklahoma City; sisters, Mae Sosbee of Weatherford and Jean Darter of Graford; niece/caregiver, Kim (Tillery) Harwell of Mineral Wells; and a host of other family members and friends.

  A Celebration of Life Service is at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.
