 Maryjane Bonifield Brady Griffin, 94, died in Weatherford, Texas, on Sunday, August 30, 2026. 

 She was born January 19, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Evelyn Riley Bonifield and Clarence William Bonifield. 

 She attended Mount Vernon Elementary and Fenger High School. While attending Bradley University on scholarship, she met her first husband, Allen Ward Brady. They were married September 13, 1950. They were the parents of Scott, Anne, and Colleen. Maryjane and Allen lived an adventurous life alternating between his career with State Farm Insurance and ministry and as business owners. They lived in many cities, including Oakland, California; Cedar Grove, New Jersey; Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Farmers Branch, Plano, Murphy, Rio Vista, and Cleburne, Texas; Plymouth, Pennsylvania; Douglas, Arizona; Roswell, New Mexico; Healdton, Oklahoma; Zacatecas, Acapulco, Jalisco, Mexico, and probably more. 

 Maryjane later returned to college while living in Roswell. She was accepted into Texas Tech Law School before receiving her bachelor's degree and completed three semesters of law school education. Allen and Maryjane then founded the "New Citizen" newspaper in Roswell, and they published many books. She also enjoyed working as a matchmaker - always ready to give lots of advice. 

 Maryjane worked as a professional paralegal serving attorneys in Plano for 10 years before retiring to Mexico in 1997. She and Allen returned to the U.S. in 2001 with Allen serving churches in several states. 

 Allen died in December 2007. Maryjane married James Ray Griffin of Liberty, Texas, who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Shirley Lersch; and her children, Roland and Erika Lersch; and her brother, Bill Bonifield. 

 She is survived by her children: Scott Allen (Robin) Brady of Meridian, Texas; Anne Brady Hettick of Quinlan, Texas; Colleen Brady (Lynn) Yinger of Azle, Texas; her grandchildren, Marc (Danise) Ahlen of Edgewood, New Mexico; Heike (Bryan) Wright of Quinlan, Texas; Matthew (Danielle) Brady and Caroline Brady of Stephenville, Texas; Seth Yinger (Sonia Obregon) of Benbrook, Texas, and John (Christie) Howard of Prosper, Texas; great grandchildren, Colin Ahlen, Paige (Alex Ledesma), Teagan, Jacob, and Aiden Wright, Raegan, Kennedy, Madison, and Jaxon Howard; and great-great grandchild, Aurora Ledesma; sister-in-law, Donna Bonifield; nephews, John LaValley, Jeff Bonifield, and Stephen Bonifield; and nieces, Cindy (Patrick) Babington and Susan (Steve) Trautman.
