Gail Greenfield was born March 31, 1935 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Shortly after her birth the family moved to West Texas where she attend schools in Floydada, Lamesa, and Odessa. They returned to Weatherford in 1945 where she graduated from Weatherford High School in 1953. On October 16, 1953, she married the love of her life and they shared 68 years until his passing in 2022.
She was active in many local organizations. The one most dear to her was Friends of the Weatherford Library and keeping in touch with her classmates.
Gail was a member of Grace First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, Elder, and Trustee.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Carl and Claudia Worden; sister, Rexie Wampler; brother, Bill Worden; son, Craig Greenfield; and husband, Roy Greenfield.
Survivors include her sons, Rick Greenfield and Tommy Greenfield (Brenda); daughter, Shelley Greenfield; grandchildren, Jody (Tiffaney), Adrian (JulieAnn), Harold (Bekka), Franklyn (Courtney), Blaise, and Shelby Bryant (Blake); great granddaughters, Blakely and Adalyn Bryant, and Tori and Brooklyn Greenfield; and daughter in law, Rhonda Greenfield.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 606 Mockingbird Lane, Weatherford, Texas. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Later that day, a graveside service will take place at Annetta Cemetery, 2667 W FM 5, Aledo, Texas, starting at 2:00 p.m.
