Marvinetta Whisenhunt Herzig, 82, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in a local nursing center. Born August 25, 1924, in Salesville, Texas, she was a retired nurse mostly with family healthcare and a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.
Her husband, John Dee Whisenhunt; daughter, Beverly Tigrett; and grandson, Danny Tigrett, precede her in death.
Survivors: daughters, Reta Jo Murrell and husband, David of Carthage and Annetta Wood and husband, Jerry of Fort Worth; son in law, Danny Tigrett of Weatherford; sister in law, Doris Davis of Mineral Wells; six grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2007, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Perrin Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
