May 22, 1951 — December 9, 2024

Martha Marie Lott passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in Weatherford, Texas. She was 73.

Martha was born on May 22, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clara Lee Norton-Pickard and Hubert Stemm. She married Richard W. Lott on August 15, 1987, and resided in Houston for several years. She was a fifth-generation Texan and descendent of Robert Potter, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. She volunteered at Chandor Gardens, where she made life-long friends and participated in several civic and community projects. She loved art, history, and travel, and lovingly collected heirloom textiles, books, and records of the Norton family. Martha was an avid painter and often gifted her artwork to friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband, Richard Lott, of Weatherford; and her cousin, Marvis Norton Kisselburgh, of Rockwall, Texas; as well as numerous beloved extended family members. Martha was a member of the Episcopal faith.
