Martha Ann Green

  Martha Ann Green, age 78, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Fort Worth. 

  She was born in Norton, Kansas, on October 7, 1935, to Marion and Vera Miller. Martha married Houston Green on October 8, 1953. She worked at Weatherford ISD as a teacher’s aide for 18 years and as a homemaker for many more. Martha loved children. Martha served in the preschool department at North Side Baptist Church for 59 years. She touched many lives and was loved by all.  

  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Barbara Miller; and brother-in-law, Leroy Roberts. 

  Martha is survived by her husband, Houston Green; son, Howard Ray Green and wife, Elonda; daughter, Vanessa Ann Dalton and husband, Ken; daughter, Teresa Kay Nash and husband, Bobby; son, John Michael Green and wife, Laurie; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral service will be Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at North Side Baptist Church, in Weatherford with Rev. Van Houser officiating. 

  Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery.
